Thank you, this version of Comodo Dragon solved an issue I had on issuu.com where publications only displayed empty pages. All thumbs up that I can get my hands on.
Hello Sixtyfour we did the fix after your post on v80 on the golf magazine, and we added it as a test case for further versions, that’s why we ask for feedback.Thank you!
Hello rarwby , unfortunately no, but is there a reason why you would like to use a older version maybe we can help you? We do not advise to use older versions since there is a software deprecation and certain functionalities will no longer work on older versions.
Could you tell us on what web-sites do you encounter this issue? Also could you tell us your computer configuration (Speacially the CPU and video card)
As a temporary fix you can disable Hardware Acceleration, until we find a fix for this issue.Go to settings and disable "Use hardware acceleration when available
"
Have been testing 83.0.4103.98 (Beta) and I’m pleased to report this has fixed the rendering problems I had seen using Comodo v. 80 on certain sites (Yahoo! news…)
Good job, Comodo team !
Seeing as 83 is now out of Beta, I’m going to update once more now, to get the stable version in Subject.
Hello Dragon1952, well it is all about the website not the browser…the are still websites that use Flash Player like www.miniclip.com which will require you do download Flash since we cannot distribute flash in the browser, you will need to go to settings, and enable Flash if you need it.
I don’t need a flash player plugin for Chrome because it is built in to Chrome. Do i still need the plugin for Dragon or is it built in now. The EOL for flash player is at the end of 2020.
Hello Dragon1952 , Dragon does not have Adobe flash pre-installed it has some Flash Functionalities build-in and if it detects that Adobe flash is needed a pop-up bar will appear to install the Flash program witch is not a plugin- it is a standalone program.
Ok, so Adobe Flash is not required , you should install it only if you visit pages that require Flash!
The EOL for flash was january 2020 and it has been extent do December i think it will be re-extended.
From memory, flash is built-in to Chromium based browsers. A lot of sites don’t use Flash and even with Chromium-Edge, it’s disabled by default. I recommend disabling flash in the settings and then enable it as an when needed on specific sites.
