Hi!
When will you make synchronization in Сomodo Dragon?

Whats more concerning is that the release cycle appears to have slowed to a crawl or stopped as no new version since May ?!

Is Comodo Dragon still developed?

Once you’ve synchronized with the Comodo Dragon, I’ll return to it. Meanwhile, to the Edge.

I can’t find any announcement of deprecation of IceDragon, so it could be that Dragon is also discontinued.
There are a LOT of found vulnerabilities to discourage its use.
Here’s list of High and Critical CVEs for Chromium/Chrome versions that were found after last Dragon release:

Hi Gene,

Thank you for reporting.
Comodo dragon is not discontinued.
Could you please post your concern in the below section ? So that the related team will check and update you.

Thanks

ComodoIceDragon is in the Discontinued products list in the forum. A lot of the old posts look to have disappeared since the move from SMF to Discourse forum software but it was discontinued some years ago.

Yes, you’re right about CID, but still there was no official retirement announcement, I’ve checked old forum with WebArchive.
IceDragon board was simply moved to Discontinued Products between Dec’21 and Jan’22. Last CID announcement was on June 19, 2019, two and a half years prior.
Dragon already lags by seven Chromium releases (five, if we are counting usual two-month CD delays), and you saw list of fixed CVEs in this time hence my recommendation to switch to another browser for now.

I do recall some message from the devs somewhere about it being discontinued but there’s no rule that states that it has to be announced. The devs moved that board to discontinued and given that it hasn’t been updated since at least 2021 should tell you it’s a discontinued product. Use common sense and don’t use it, Firefox works well if you want to use that or Waterfox as an alternative.
