Comodo dragon is not discontinued.
Could you please post your concern in the below section ? So that the related team will check and update you.
ComodoIceDragon is in the Discontinued products list in the forum. A lot of the old posts look to have disappeared since the move from SMF to Discourse forum software but it was discontinued some years ago.
Yes, you’re right about CID, but still there was no official retirement announcement, I’ve checked old forum with WebArchive.
IceDragon board was simply moved to Discontinued Products between Dec’21 and Jan’22. Last CID announcement was on June 19, 2019, two and a half years prior.
Dragon already lags by seven Chromium releases (five, if we are counting usual two-month CD delays), and you saw list of fixed CVEs in this time hence my recommendation to switch to another browser for now.
I do recall some message from the devs somewhere about it being discontinued but there’s no rule that states that it has to be announced. The devs moved that board to discontinued and given that it hasn’t been updated since at least 2021 should tell you it’s a discontinued product. Use common sense and don’t use it, Firefox works well if you want to use that or Waterfox as an alternative.
It’s beginning to appear as though someone is asleep at the wheel in regards to updating the Chromium Code base for Comodo Dragon.
At what point does one of the supposedly more secure browsers become no longer secure?
With the Chrome code base now at 143.07…& the latest update having fixed Critical vulnerabilities.
This means Comodo version 134.0.6998.179 is now behind by at least 9 versions.
I have been a dedicated user of the Dragon browser for over 15 Years & this is beginning to seem as though the developers no longer care about users security concerns.
Please fix this.

To expound further on the potential “Insecurity / Vulnerabilities” in the Comodo browser, I can no longer log into AMAZON, along with a few other frequently used sites, as I get the following message.
: A notice to our users
Unable to connect using required security protocol. To access the page requested, please upgrade or use a different browser or mobile device to ensure that your experience on Amazon will be uninterrupted.
It would be nice if a moderator would provide info on when these security issues will be addressed or if COMODO broswer is not longer supported,
