We are pleased to announce the release of Comodo Dragon v109.0.5414.120 32&64-bit are now available.

New Features:

Updated to Chromium v109 codebase.

Known bugs:

  1. After installation a shortcut isn’t created on the taskbar on Windows 10

  2. Chrome Sync not working

Notice:

Comodo Dragon browser is based on Chromium, which stops the support for Win7 and Win8.1.

Comodo Dragon based on Chromium 109, will be the last version compatible with Win7 and Win8.1.

Comodo Dragon will still work and get updates after version 109, but will not receive future updates for Win7 and Win8.1 .

We recommend upgrading to Windows10 or greater in order to get future updates.

After updating to version 109, Dragon’s default extensions disappeared. Is it by design or is it a bug?

Hi Boris_3,

This change is by design. You should be able to see them by clicking on Extensions icon located on top-right corner.

Can anyone tell me how to Remove / Uninstall the Comodo Online Security Pro browser Extension?
I seem to remember having the option to remove it in previous browser versions, but now cannot find a uninstall / remove button

comodo dragon is safe, but updates help the popularize softwares…

I have the same question as Murphy13. By clicking on the extensions symbol I can see the default Comodo’s ones but I cannot manage them anymore. How can I now activate/deactivate them?

Hi Murphy13,

For the moment, if you want to deactivate Comodo Online Security Pro, please do the following:

  1. Press Win + R
  2. Type: %localappdata%
  3. Go to: Comodo\Dragon\User Data\Components
  4. Rename COS_Chrome_2.9.0.109 folder to backup_COS_Chrome_2.9.0.109
  5. Go to Comodo Dragon Instalation folder and find Dragon extensions folder (default location: C:\Program Files\Comodo\Dragon\extensions)
  6. Rename: COS_Chrome_2.9.0.109.crx to backup_COS_Chrome_2.9.0.109.crx

If you want to delete Comodo Online Security Pro, please do the following:

  1. Press Win + R
  2. Type: %localappdata%
  3. Go to: Comodo\Dragon\User Data\Components
  4. Delete COS_Chrome_2.9.0.109 folder
  5. Go to Comodo Dragon Instalation folder and find Dragon extensions folder (default location: C:\Program Files\Comodo\Dragon\extensions)
  6. Delete: COS_Chrome_2.9.0.109.crx
