Comodo Dragon reset EVERYTHING to default by ITSELF...?

I use a lot of different browsers for different uses on each one. I used CD for a while and liked it, but anyways one time I open it up and all my bookmarks are gone, history, home page reset, download folder reset everything. And I didn’t do anything.

Also it’s most likely not a virus as I am a computer technician myself, use AVG, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, Malwarebytes are more.

And also I didn’t upgrade to the new 5.0 version because I didn’t want to risk losing all my tabs and such (yes I know there are apps for that which I had some installed, all of them are gone now, all my the add-ons), it’s not a update problem then. Running 4.1.1.12 atm.

What could of happened?

Hello, Yoda8232.

Could you please provide additional information such as:

  • OS

[o] UAC status if Vista/W7

  • System Drive
  • Place (path) where Comodo Dragon is installed
  • User privileges (administrator, power user, etc.)
  • any installed program that monitors and clears data on the hard drive

We will try to reproduce your problem but the details are required.

Thanks,
–andrew

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
UAC: Disabled 100%
System Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200.12 32 MB Cache 3.5" HDD
Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\COMODO\Dragon
User Prvileges: Full Admin
CCleaner is the only one I use but NEVER resets a whole browser, I have Chrome to which is basically Dragon and it stays operational. It just cleans temp files, history, stuff like that NOT FAVORITES, BOOKMARKS, etc. I also have CD installed on another computer with CCleaner and this never happened before it’s not that for sure.

Thanks for your help.
