Comodo Doesn't recognize Programs

I seem to have a number of programs that try to connect to the interent that Comodo doesn’t recognize. However, those some programs are in the custom firewall policy allow full access to the internet.

What gives? I have to go into learning mode inorder to use many of my programs?
