Same for me.

Windows 7 x64
CIS V4

Also, if I try to submit all (1500) files to be analyzed the program crashes.

I’ve also had it crash when submitting files, even if I was only reporting 20-40 at a time.

Windows 7 x64
CIS V4

If you need more information please ask.

After having CCS scan my computer (just the default scan) if I then click the box for it to Rescan it will finish scanning, but it will display a message that says ‘The scan has been aborted by user’ even though I let it finish.

My information is given above.

Hi,
Can you post some screens please and other details about the sessions of scan before it appears, if there are any.
Thank you!

Installed CCS, which ran np.
I did, however, uninstall Live PC Support.
Upon doing this, ALL Comodo entries in my Start Menu disappeared (gone). There is no Comodo to be found any longer in my Start Menu.

Windows 7 x64, CIS is the only security installed and running.

I just checked and the exact same thing happened to me. There is no longer any Comodo folder in the start menu.

The only real-time scanner I am running is CIS V4.1. I do have Comodo Programs Manager Beta installed as well.

According to the task manager a2service and SASCore64.exe are both running. These correspond to the free versions of both emisoft antimalware and susperantispyware.

I’ve attached the pics. Let me know if you need more information.

I’ve identified two false positives with CCS, but I can’t report them through the program.

See the attached pic.

  • Your Operating System (and whether it’s 32bit/64bit);
    Windows 7 Home Premium, 32bit

  • Security Software Installed;
    CIS, Avira Free(guard disabled)

  • How you produced the problem;
    (There’s 3 files that are blank) after a little research the files are (There’s also a picture too)
    c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\liboldhttp_pplugin.dll
    c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\liboldrc_plugin.dll
    c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\liboldtelnet_plugin.dll

the other problem is when sending it for analyses. Funny thing :slight_smile: It misspelled firefox.exe (It shows tirefox.exe) There’s a picture too for that, I thought that was funny :slight_smile:

This is what I did

  1. I let it do the regular scan
  2. Then I clicked “Yes” on Do you want to scan your folders and files for malware (Something like that)
  3. It showed 3 blank files on there (detailed above)
    c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\liboldhttp_pplugin.dll
    c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\liboldrc_plugin.dll
    c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\liboldtelnet_plugin.dll

4)as I was waint to upload the unknown files, I click on “view individual progress” and the name tirefox.exe comes up.
On my computer, it’s located Desktop\FirefoxPortableMinefield\App\Firefox Firefox version 3.7.6 beta
