Thank you for feedback on previous BETA v674.

Here is release candidate v1.17.444897.682 of Comodo Cloud Antivirus:

If you don’t want to do fresh installation, alternately you can also have following hosts (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) entries:


91.209.196.83 download.comodo.com
91.209.196.83 www.download.comodo.com

and use manual updater option and update to this version.

Fixes:
On top of changes mentioned in previous BETA v672, following are fixes:

  • Flash of CCAV screen is shown as reported here.
  • Going forward, this version on wards, if you remove CCAV desktop shortcut, it will ensure it is not re-created upon update. So not backward compatible.

Unless we hear a blocker, this will be production version to be released this week.

Please update from last production v650 and share your feedback.

Upgraded from Beta-2 to RC, upgrade went smooth.
Also installed a clean version of RC.
No visible problems so far.

Clean install on Win10x64 1709 (16299.309) . . everything running well
Upgrade from 650 on similar system and also running well
