Hi All,
We have released CCAV v1.8.407387.418 to fix following critical issue: FIXES:
• In certain special cases invalid certificate could be considered valid in Win 8 and above.
We are working on a new and improved version of CCAV, planned by month end, that will have significant improvement with respect to Valkyrie integration with CCAV.
Additionally team is also working on a new GUI, planned in Feb-end, allowing multiple GUI themes.
Please keep your suggestions coming.
Thank you for all your support, we are determined to make CCAV a better product with every new release.
Is by-pass here meant by shuting down the VM?
If petya didn’t encrypted any files I wouldn’t call it a by-pass (but still it would be nice if sandboxed apps couldn’t shut down your PC).
Edit:
Actually, here is a video test of it: Comodo Cloud AV - Autosandbox only - petya bypassed - YouTube
Hi guys, I see the recognizerCryptolocker.dll version in Viruscope is only 1.0.0.0 in CCAV latest, but at a much higher number in CFW for example, not the same?
