I’m very happy and excited to announce that Comodo Cloud Antivirus 1.3.395640.279 hotfix version is now released !

Now, we are getting another step with our latest tool added inside CCAV called Internet Security Essentials which is a simple protection tool for Man in the Middle Attacks. This new tool provides a secure browsing experience for our users to prevent man in the middle attacks!

You will be protected from man in the middle attacks on websites where you use sensitive information to do banking or online shopping for Free. Main features of this product can be stated as :

• Root certificate check. :-TU
• Alert when suspicious root cert is detected. :-TU
• Https website detection and tracking. :-TU

As you know we are also improving Valkyrie system gradually, expect new releases in short terms and our calendar will be very dynamic !

What’s new in 1.3.395640.279 ?

  • Internet Security Essentials:

    You will be protected from man in the middle attacks on websites where you use sensitive information to do banking or online shopping !

  • GUI Improvement :

In detected file list the Clear button should be called ‘Clear All’ and/or an ‘are you sure’ check made.

  • Fixes :

o Some files in rating scan result is trust but still can be submitted to Valkyrie.
o CCAV crashed when click “apply” in rating scan.

For HTTPS/SSL, CCAV doesn’t install own certificates, right?

Ok, for the first time, Valkyrie analyzed a file on my system & I got a popup with options clean/ignore…And I was reading the popup but after few secs popup disappeared…I think popup should be there for a min or 2 or an option in the GUI to set time for popups.

By the way, the file in question is utorrentie.exe…And its in the portable uTorrent folder…I downloaded portable uTorrent from portableapps.com so guess detection is FP.

did the test here with the latest release of this portable app and it was not sandboxed or inspected/prevented for execution by valkyrie or sandbox of ccav… strange… download it again and unpack the files with 7-zip so you can verify the files with ccav+valkyrie…

btw, Im loving this new edition… almost everything is great now… just some options I would like to have here that are not there yet… Ill post some wishes soon…

CCAV-Valkyrie Feedback

After first rating scan, there is a file in unknowns list. Uploaded to Valkyrie manually.
File is this : Advanced File Analysis System | Valkyrie

File is still in unknowns in CCAV but the file is clean on Valkyrie result.
