Defense+ is deactivated
That sounds like a bug to me. Please report it.
Also follow How to determine which file is causing a manual scan to hang to determine what file was causing the scanner to be hung. Please add this information to your bug report.

Portable Apps doesn’t need installation. So how can Beta CCE or any Beta Portable App be dangerous on the Production Machine.

CCE installs a service and let that service load a driver. Those actions can cause instability given their very nature.

Hi Guys and Gals.I was wondering when CCE goes final, soon i hope, will all the av vendors up to 40 or so be added to Dacs when scanning, and will these be used in scanning files rather than just memory as seems to be the case at the moment.Please correct me if the previous statement about Dacs only being used in memory, but i thought the whole idea of Dacs scanning was to give a Comodo product unbeatable detection, and it seems at the moment that if its not in memory then its just Comodos Av with better cleaning. Am I right on this?.
