I don’t know what’s going on. It’s been a few weeks already that I’ve been waiting for an answer to the High CPU usage of the cmdagent from CIS. Uninstalling- reinstalling doesn’t help.
Now on top that lately I’m getting this, and that’s the reason why I post it here
Can you please check the windows eventlog (system) to see if there are errors recorded?
Did you have to hard power-down your system lately, maybe run a check disk to verify files?
May be left overs of previously installed security programs are in the way. Try using removal tools for those programs. Here is a list of removal tools for common av programs: ESET Knowledgebase .
Otherwise do a Google search with terms “removal tool” and * name of product or vendor*.
