There is not network error and yet the message “An Internet connection is required”.
Not certain what this issue is the result of but have tried the install and reinstall route several times each with this same result.

Thanks much for your ongoing efforts to make computing safe. :slight_smile:

  1. Can you confirm if multiple log files were created in temp folder (eg after a system restart)?
  2. Can you confirm if there isn’t any visible activation issue in user interface (eg not activated message)?
  3. Are you using any RamDisk application?

windstorm:

  1. Can you confirm if multiple log files were created in temp folder (eg after a system restart)?
    Confirming that multiple seven zipped log files are in the temp folder all containing the same information.
  2. Can you confirm if there isn’t any visible activation issue in user interface (eg not activated message)?
    There is no visible activation issue in the tray application gui and no pop-ups asking me to activate.
  3. Are you using any RamDisk application?
    I am not using a RamDisk application.

However, the log files are telling me there is a problem and the accumulation of these log files is bothersome. In addition, the program has downloaded and installed one or more program updates with this same issue occurring.

Thanks for the info. I will report the issue.

// bug 2281

Looks fixed to me with version <10.0.1.6294>.
