Interesting. Google’s extension requires M41+, so it cannot be tested with Dragon, and I wasn’t aware of that third-party extension until you mentioned it. I leave it to developer to answer if there are some code-changes in Chromodo 42 that causes this feature to stop working.
Hi Duke I don’t work at or for Comodo but I do try to keep all the versions of most browsers on one of my sites. I try to put them up as soon as I see the full release no beta versions. Nothing special just downloads
A few pages back I asked about the speed (futuremark) drop and loss of PRIVDOG? Is PRIVDOG gone for good and will it also be removed from Dragon? Unless I missed something the new “Adsanitizer” doesn’t offer the same protection?
And is there a reason for the drop in speed?
I work with 160+ remote repair clients and I add Chromodo & Dragon as their browsers. I also add FVD speed dial and duckduckgo as default search to all their computers. So I like reading in here to make sure I have the fix for any problem before they ask. I haven’t upgraded any of them to 42 because I know a couple of them love the PRIVDOG. The rest wouldn’t know the difference. lol
For me, the license agreement doesn’t display in Chromodo 36.7.0.8 because of Symantec Endpoint Protection.
And running the chromodosetup.exe downloaded from comodo.com, Symantec quarantines certsentry.exe, causing Chromodo to throw “Failed to download new version.”
But upgrading with Chromodo42Setup.exe, linked above, is successful.
beast-usa The download link for Chromodo is on the first page of this post. I was just pointing out that the download link on the Comodo pages still needs updating.
As regards your other questions I’m not qualified to comment, perhaps someone else could answer your questions about speed and differences between AdSanitizer and PrivDog.
