I recently tried PeerBlocker and was suprised to find I could not access Comodo.com using the simple level 1 blacklist from BlueTack. :o
Evidently it’s either a misfit, or Comodo is involved in anti-p2p and government funding?
I think the matter should be resolved.
Criteria they use for blocking:
Companies or organizations who are clearly involved with trying to stop filesharing.
Companies which anti-p2p activity has been seen from.
Companies that produce or have a strong financial interest in copyrighted material.
Government ranges or companies that have a strong financial interest in doing work for governments.
Legal industry ranges.
IPs or ranges of ISPs from which anti-p2p activity has been observed.
I suspect that Comodo is blocked for the reason I’ve highlighted above. As a certification authority, I believe they fit the bill.
You can the people at the BlueTack forums why they think it should be on that list. Let us know their insights on this.
