Comodo Automatic Updates

I have the free version of Comodo Internet Security and Comodo Firewall. Recently it went from doing automatic updates a few times a week to several times a day. I’ve counted as many as 10 in one day. This seems excessive to me. Can anyone explain this?

The more often your AV is updated the more likely the newest threats will be caught. In general the more often an AV is updated the better.

Thanks. I guess I won’t worry about it then. I was just concerned about the sudden change and the fact that I had just had a pretty bad spyware infection. I wondered if they were related somehow. But like you said, the more often it updates, the better, I reckon. Though it did not catch the spyware infection.
