I have two systems setup. For all intensive purposes, one keyboard monitor and mouse to dedicate. In actuality (at this time) I’m using a kvm switch to jump back and forth to witness everything that is happening on both ends. System_B is an apache server. To easily manage this system I have RealVNC server deployed on it.
The server by default uses port 5900in/5800out for incoming/outgoing RealVNC requests.
Upon installing Comodo, this great firewall auto-detected realvnc and loaded it to application monitor. I set the Correct Comodo_Rules to allow the system to transfer data in & out on the subnet. Works Great!!!
Here’s problem -
Sometimes when I try to get sys_a's realvnc viewer to connect to sys_b's realvnc server a Comodo msg pops up on sys_b asking for permission to let vnc connect as a server to sys_a. This is weird because I have already told comodo that realvnc is a valid program on it's app monitor and I have the correct rules setup to suffice for the data path/type allowance. The msg tells me what Ip and direction and data type are being transfered, so I could verify these rules. Why is comodo still asking for my approval, when It should know that everything is fine. I did also fill in the check-box "remember my answer". Let me go even further to say that with the "remember answer box" UNCHECKED, clicking deny results in future attempts being automatically denied with an error msg being sent to sys_a. Letting sys_b sit for a couple of hours seems to reset this , and at the least allow me to get the allow/deny box to come back. Even quicker yet for testing, I have been uninstalling and reinstalling so I don't have to wait. Yes and each time I have to resetup rules... No Biggie, Good for learning.
Got any suggestions?

WFT… Just turned off Learn Mode for component monitor. Set to ON. Didn’t ask me this time… Might be fixed… comments?
Got to say that for all the problems I have had with Comodo, I sure have learned allot. I don’t know if this prob is totally fixed. Guess I’ll wait to set the system off on it’s own to see if any more msg popup. Got the OSI model on my side!!!
