Comodo Antivirus collapsed PC

I installed Comodo Internet Security and when I run PC scan, Antivirus collapsed when reaching C:\Documents and Settings\My name.… The Collapse appeared as blue screen for microsecond and immediately then PC restart. Comodo had left no report on this collapse. I excluded this folder in Antivirus/Scanner Settings/Exclusions but Comodo did not respect this eclusion and scanned this folder everytime I tried it more for several times, the result was always the same: collapse and restart of PC.
I checked folder Documents and Settings with Clam AV and Spybot Search and Destroy, no virus or problem was found.

I found Comodo Antivirus useles in this stage, because of no possibility to scan my PC.

CIS version 3.8.65951.477_XP,
Windows Home XP SP3,
other security program: Spybot S&D, Clam AV,

As a test, can you please MOVE (not COPY) the files from the folder the hang occurs in to another folder and try scanning again.

I’m just trying to determine if it’s a file causing the hang or something else.

Let us know how this works out.

Cheers,
Ewen

I moved the files to another disk and ran the scan. Antivirus collapsed and restarted PC again at some other folder. I have no time to follow the scan and continue this test.

I unistalled the Comodo Antivirus and installed another one.

Thanks.
