comodo agent could not be started error after installing v12.0.0.6882 . i also unistall and install many times but still show me this error

i tryed

1- comodo unistall tool
2- install lateset version
3- checked services
4- unistalled all ather security programs

system info

  • windows 7 64bit sp1

If you are using win 10 1809 or above make sure App control is set to allow you to install apps and programs from sources other than just the Microsoft store.

My Comodo is displaying this error message with a “x”. How do I fix this error?

A simple uninstall by the uninstaller did the trick for me. All is well now.

I have the same problem (and messages about Comodo agent) on my Windows 10 x64 LTSC 1809.

Hi everyone, I have some problem with startup.
After few seconds after system is on, I see message “Comodo agent could not be started”. But it starts up manualy. The inner analyser found some problems but could not solve them and created report. After reboot CIS still don’t want to start and analyser cant see any problems.
I didnt use any cleaners such as CCleaner, RegCleaner etc.
My system: Windows 10 x64 1809 17763.737
CIS: 12.0.0.6882

try uninstaller with comodo uninstaller, here solved

It didn’t help. I’ve tryed it at least 4 times to uninstall and install it from scratch. After few days problem is coming back.

It looks like there is a bug in version 12.0.0.6882 ?

I tried many times to install this version but at the end of the installation process, the following message pops up: Comodo agent could not be started .

cispremium_only_installer.exe MD5 : e0b576a13816e77ff4ac344ab4387b01
AV unchecked if that makes any difference

I installed 12.0.0.6818 with no problem at all.

trying to install comodo, but after installation getting the following error when trying to run it

Comodo Security Agent count not be started.
Would you like to run the diagnostics tool to fix this error?

After running the diagnostics, a zip file is prepared which contains two files, one in xml and other in evtx format.
