Coming Back To Comodo Vers 2.2 vs Vers 2.3

Hiya,
I’m coming back to Comodo after trying every single other free firewall on the market. My question is… Do I download and install the Stable 2.2 or go ahead and get the beta 2.3 which is meant to be released today even though I’ll have to re-install in a couple of weeks when the stable version of 2.3 is released. Which way should i go?

Well it’s your choice. The beta has Comodo’s own installer / uninstaller so fixed any issues with installshield. It has more security, some new fetures, and the new version (hopefully released today) has a massive reduction in resource useage.

If you do install the beta when you reinstall you will need to re do all your settings however.

Thanks Mike,
Will probably go with the new Beta since it’s lighter on resources etc. I think I can live with dealing with all the pop-ups again once the stable release comes out. It’s quarter to 3pm her in the UK. Hopefully the the latest Beta will be released by the time I get home at 6.

I think they only woke up in America about an hour ago 2:00PM UK time (which is where - I think - the firewall team are). So there is plenty of time yet.
