COM Surrogate has stopped working

I get this error sometimes. I just close the program and everything remains the same but I’m wondering if there is something going on in the background.

OS: Windows Vista Black Edition SP1 2009
Antivirus: ESET Nod32
Antimalware: Malwarebytes
Firewall: None - previously Comodo
