Clogging the HIPS log

Is it possible to avoid clogging the HIPS log with these Firefox events?

May i know your:

  1. CIS/CFW version ?
  2. WIN version & build number along with system type(32bit/64bit) ?
  3. Firefox version ?
  4. Is there any other security product installed on your machine?
  5. Modules enabled & level. D+/HIPS, Auto sandbox, firewall, & AV ?

  • all other Comodo modules are active (Viruscope, HIPS, Web filtering, auto-containment)

Either disable HIPS or don’t run firefox in containment, this is not an issue as it is just logging blocked events of contained applications. Also just clear the logs if you feel it is filling up too many events.

In addition,
once Firefox is running in the container, each consultation of a new web site generates 2 events in the HIPS log.
