Hi Would having Clamav(ST) activated as an on demand scanner be of any benefit(detection rate)? It is incredibly slow.
It depends really on what other products you have on your system.ClamAV doesn’t have the highest detection rate but it’s ok if you have nothing better installed.
I cannot really recommend it, maybe you can or should use it as an additional scanner.
The definitions are still too few, and it does not really have heuristics.
BTW it’s way ssssssssssslllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww.
