Hi everybody
I recieved my new laptop and i want to install the latest version of comodo personal firewall. My laptop run under windows 7 64 bits.
I goes to comodo website and i have downloaded the installer direct from the website.
But during installation i recieve the error code 1603 when the program try to install the driver. My computer is new. No firewall was installed (exept the windows firewall i disabled).
Can someone help me?
Nobody on this forum can help me? Even a little idea?
Did you have CIS installed on that computer before?
Or any other security product?
The problem could be that some parts of the former security product weren’t removed completely. Also, please see this thread:

also make sure to download this one http://download.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/standalone/cispremium_installer_x64.exe

The laptop is brand new. Mcafee internet security was installed when i recieve the laptop. I uninstall it and run a registrer cleaner before trying to install comodo firewall
I have downloaded this version of comodo firewall:

please run this tool to remove any left overs of mcafee Download McAfee Removal Tool (MCPR) - MajorGeeks then restart and try installing from the link I gave you.

I have already downloaded this removal tool. I run it a second time and i installed your version but i still have the same error at the same time (installing drivers)
