CIS update reboots

Is it possible and will it be likely that future CIS versions may UPDATE with out the mandatory SYSTEM REBOOT?

I don’t give it much of a chance. Moving it to the wish board.

I rather have a cold update, then a hot update;

Difference? cold is defined as to restart a machine to apply the update; hot is defined as to apply the update without restarting;;

Reason? there are barely to none security risk’s while restarting the update; and also there could be ‘flaws/errors/non-wanted variables’ during a hot update…
