I’ve been since 2009 a user and fan of CFW and later of CIS. I remember how the forum was dynamic, Mellih joined from time to time and shared his enthusiasm. Now nearly every forum’s board is inactive and it sadden me a lot to see this wonderful forum slowly dying as the products are successively abandoned.
After reading this topic - https://forum.itarian.com/t/questions-about-licensing/52463 - I understand that the business model of Comodo and its parent companies has changed, free products won’t be delivered anymore as they transition to a paid model.
I can understand that developing and keeping up products has a cost that must be covered one way or another. I hope that Mellih won’t let CIS home version completely down and maintain at least the paid version or find a way to receive contributions or donations from user to help the company financially.
