CIS not updating

I’ve got a problem were some (about 5) PC’s are not doing their AV updates and does not change the “Secure” green to red “At Risk” even if the last Database update was 6 months ago. Ran diagnostics and shows nothing found. Used uninstall tool to remove and reinstall and the same problem still happens. Have about 100 Pc’s on the same network that all work fine. This few have to be manually updated. Any suggestions to what I must look at?

Running CIS 10.2.06526 and Windows 10 32bit and 64 bit mix of Pc’s.

Can you please provide the snapshot of Advanced Settings->Updates from the PC where you have an issue.

Can you please share the following logs for further investigation from the issue system

  1. cislogs.sdb file from the location C:\ProgramData\COMODO\Firewall Pro
  2. Provide CIS installation logs
    Go to Temp folder in Windows by going to Windows Run (Windows Key + R key in keyboard) and type in ‘%temp%’ (without quotes) and press Enter key and find log file with naming convention as ‘cmdinstaller.exe_X_X.log.7z’ file.
  3. msinfo32.nfo and Windows Event logs using this guide.

Gave up on CIS and installed CCAV on the Pc’s . If I find one that does that again I’ll do the reporting.
