  1. CIS doesn’t scan compressed files during real-time protection. I’ve downloaded a viruses package from webpage and CIS didn’t react on that situation. How I change my AV’s setting so that it scans compressed files during real-time protection? Is there any option to change it?

Other questions:
2. Does CIS have any component something like Avira’s webguard? The thing is does it protect all the http internet traffic?

  1. Does CIS’s AV also have heuristic detection or only signature detection?

  1. No heuristic at this point, although it will be included in a future release. Until that - Defense+ is helpful since it contains heuristic features.
