I removed the CIS, installed only antivirus. The problem is still there. Perhaps you have option of writing all events to the log? The problem is that the CIS does many things silently and does not record it in the log.

I’ll try to make a memory dump when there is free time. I hope in the next few days. Being a programmer I understand sometimes it is difficult to reproduce a bug, which is very rare for users and never for testers. I will try to help in this.

I’m guessing I have the same issue or a similar one, I just got a new SSD this Saturday and did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro and after installing Comodo Firewall I’m seeing the same behavior with my start menu and action center not opening on left click, right click menus work (mostly), sometimes I get sluggish UI elements here and there (mostly with the Comodo Firewall app itself locking up for minutes at a time); But if I do ‘CTRL + ALT + Delete > Sign Out’ and re-login to my user account the start menu and action center function normally.
Update 6474 still contains this problem

I have exactly the same problem. Freshly installed Windows 10 v.1709. When i press CTRL + ALT + Delete and log out and back in, start menu opened. When I uninstalled Comodo firewall the problem was gone.

After 10 reboots everething is fine. Of course I did not forget to remove “Windows system apps” group from “Detect shellcode injections exclusion”.
