Hi There,
I just updated to Windows 8.1 from Windows 7.
CIS is breaking my Cisco AnyConnect VPN software (version 3.1.04072).
I am able to connect to my VPN, but unable to browse to any website. I can can still ping websites, but not browse or access anything. Even disabling the firewall doesn’t resolve the issue.
Uninstalling CIS, BOOM, VPN works just fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Does the issue you are experiencing match that which is reported here?
Yes, that’s exactly what’s going on.
Unfortunately, I can’t download the latest version of the Cisco AnyConnect (you need a cisco login and service agreement). The latest I could find on the web is 3.1.04072, and the version my employer provides is 3.1…03103.
I will try uninstalling the the firewall driver on the cisco vpn adapter after this shift, but obviously, I would prefer to have my firewall functional on my vpn as well.
Okay, as this issue is the same as that already reported I will move this report to Resolved, as it has been reported previously. Please let me know if you have any further questions, or run into trouble.
Thanks.
So, just to be clear, is this an issue your are going to try to address (like on your list of things to do)?
Want to know whether to start looking for another firewall or not.
Thanks!

To be very clear, I am not an employee of Comodo. I am a volunteer moderator who is managing the bug reporting board, and passing information on to the Comodo devs.
That said, as far as I can tell this issue is on their list of things to fix.
Thanks.
I can confirm the issue affects the latest 3 versions Anyconnect clients up to the latest version 3.1.05160
So far the only workaround is to uninstall or disable the CIS firewall driver under Anyconnect client settings in Windows.
A quick google search shows this is a known issue, e.g https://dotcio.rpi.edu/node/409
Chiron, thanks for the updates on this issue. Please let us know if there is any movement or which part of the forum or the particular thread where this issue is tracked.
Thanks.
