CIS Antivirus beats Kaspersky and Norton

there is a very interesting test on youtube.
“Languy” tests the new Norton 2012 and kaspersky 2012.

Look at the video:

At the end of the test, “Languy” compares the detection rate to COMODO Antivirus.-
It beats Kaspersky 13% and Norton about 20%.

Apart from “many false positives” CIS has got the highest detection.

Congratulations!! (:CLP) :BNC (:CLP)

You can’t judge which one is better based on a single test…
Anyone can make a different one with opposite results…

Tip: check out how many samples I submit every day in “Submit Malware Here To Be Blacklisted - 2011” topic and most of them are already detected by Avira/Avast/Kaspersky…

Norton vs Kaspersky vs Comodo is like comparing USA vs Russia vs China!
Guise, we’re all in this together, if Greece defaults, we de… sorry, ehm, I mean, if Norton user gets infected, we all get infected… :stuck_out_tongue:
Patch your windows, update your av and you’ll avoid major infections with a little brain.

This still reminds me that AV’s are only good for detecting after the fact, not prevention.

Just watched it, I must say I am really surprised at Symantec…
Kaspersky performed as expected, but Comodo really did the job! :-TU :-TU :-TU

Firstly i got fooled and i thought that norton has “enhanced security”. LOL. ;D

Same here! ;D
I thought:“Okay, this is new tech, let’s see what they can do”… ;D
But then, empty norton…

If it’s so great it would have been tested by AV comparatives and av-test. :-\

I rather trust something I can see for myself than something I don’t in some PDF text…

;D nice job comodo!

I got shocked by the fact that Norton couldn’t protect itself :D. A way to go Norton, now u r allowing malware to replace the product in the system with a fake Norton" that’s just classic u know !!"… a way to go indeed

Keep in mind that it’s still BETA so I forgive them, but still… ;D

I s*at bricks… :o

Firstly i got fooled and i thought that norton has "enhanced security". LOL.
I LOL..... too :) Norton only enhanced their marketing tactics without enhancing the software itself :D

When in doubt: USE ZOMBIES!

;D ;D ;D

I still love zombies more!

:stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: ;D ;D ;D
And yeah, he thinks that someone’s breaking in! :-TU

That’s funny…

That is very true!!! Hahahaha! ;D

Kind regards,
