CIS and Win11 Task Manager

Why Win11 Task Manager is trying to Access cis.exe’s memory? Atm over 110k “intrusions” and grows every few seconds.

Can you explain to us what does “Task Manager is trying to Access cis.exe’s memory” means? the task manager does not access a process’s memory directly, it queries a process information’s to show its stats on the user interface.

Atm over 110k “intrusions” and grows every few seconds.

Can you provide screenshots or give us extended details on what’s going on? what does “intrusions” mean?

That happens every second and atm closing to 507k. Might be trying to start scheduled scan which ain’t triggering as non-admin (no scan shown in av events).

Looks like a suspicious activity, i would flag it as a malwae in your computer trying to inject a .dll into cis.exe in order to elevate privilege and execute a shell code in order to disable your real time protection (or mine some crypto currency). Try running a full scan with heuristic set, i highly doubt it would pick up on something.

Full scan with heuristic was negative.

MBAM and Spybot haven’t found anything either.
