Hi All,
I updated CIS7 yesterday then let the machine shut down. Now this morning my windows 7 box will BSOD on start up and I have not been able to recover by restoring to a previous version. I did not change any hardware or software between updating CIS and starting pc this morning. The only thing I did was postpone the restart for an hour then went out.
I didn’t have much time to look at it before starting work this morning but a quick check of the log shows that msahci.sys is corrupt.
Has anyone else encountered this? I am at work now but will be able to post more info later on. I think i am using v7.0.317799.4142.
