CIS 5 does not automatically disables the Windows firewall. Must manually disable it. Or it should be included?
yea, I also mentioned it, and CIS doesn’t disable Windows Defender too.
I don’t know if they will change it for CIS 5…
No. CIS 5 won’t disable automatically Windows firewall and windows defender but it’s not a big deal to disable it manually
Adonis i would have to disagree with you on that. If a person forgets to disable windows firewall and run comodo at the same time you can have some serious issues with the two of them.
I don’t think so. I have never heard of anyone having an issue running MSFW with CIS.
In the beginning i didn’t know that CIS couldn’t do it. So i ran it for some time together CIS 4.1 and Windows 7 firewall and had no problems at all.
I was having issues with some browsing and slow downloads (but no errors). Then I realized that both firewalls were on, turned off Windows firewall and no more internet slowness. My personal opinion is there should at least be some kind of notice or warning to turn off the Windows firewall. Otherwise people might think the CIS is causing these issues?
In order to turn Windows Firewall off completely in Win 7 I had to go into services and disable it from there.

You can do it in “Security” > “Firewall”, there are some options on the left.
