CIS 5 + Avast 5

Howdy, would it be a bad idea to install complete CIS 5 with the AV being used as on-demand scanner, Avast being the resident one? Do they conflict that way? ???

Yes, they will conflict at driver/service level.
You’ll do more harm than good.
Choose to install full CIS or CIS (without the antivirus) and avast.
Most of the times, disable is not enough.

You have a lot of on demand scanners that don’t conflict.
