CIS 2017 won't let me upgrade to it

I can’t install CIS 2017 as mentioned in this thread.

After the installation process goes to 100%, CIS tells me I should restart my computer for changes to take effect. However when I install, nothing happens and I still have the same old version I had before.

I am currently using CIS 2025 12.3.4.8162

Greetings desbest,

Uninstall CIS manually via Settings > Apps (or Programs & Features).

Run COMODO Uninstaller many times until nothing gets removed: Official Comodo Uninstaller v3.1.0.55 Released .

Reinstall CIS: Introducing Comodo Internet Security 2027 V12.4.0.8170 .
