CIMA Wishlist

Hello Everyone,

I am new here at this forum and I joined to learn more about Comodo.

In my opinion, I think it would be nice if CIMA can scan ordinary/regular files and documents like:

-.doc
-.xls
-.mp3
-.jpeg
-.pdf
-.flv

And also, it would also be nicer if it can scan all the files on our disk, this way you’ll know if there’s a malware lurking inside our files.

I saw the other thread, about CIMA’s new version released, and I’ve read one post in there that should have bee posted in this thread.

So let me do the honor of posting it here and my own question included. ;D

Would there be a .pdf file of report and would there be any chance that it would be send into our e-mail accounts?

Comodo has an online AV scanner for this purpose: Anti Virus Scan | Free Online Scanner to detect Viruses and Spyware .

My wish:

Upload to CIMA from desktop.
Right-click “suspected_file.exe” > Send To > CIMA

Just like VirusTotal has done.

Another wish:

Could CIMA analyse new/old websites for malware?

Then state whether it’s a risk or not.

Then create some sort of add-on: (see my other post).

I’m guessing you mean something like the VT Uploader?

There is already the siteinspector, although I haven’t really heard any info on this since it was released.

I will probably name several things that have been already mentioned for the CIMA wishlist, so I will apologize in advance, things such as:

A stand alone up-loader/submitter (like VirusTotal has), the ability to submit files to CIMA from CIS (if this is not already available), a CIMA browser plug-in/add-on (like VirusTotal has but without the toolbar and/or Avast Webshield/AVG Linkscanner alternative), the ability to submit URLS to CIMA, the ability to submit all commonly infectable file types and/or all file types, the ability to submit files somewhat over 20mb - 128mb, more detail in reports with better/easier to understand/more organized/more broken down/logical descriptions, a progress bar or something, ability to submit multiple files at once like the VirusTotal Uploader, and maybe a few other things that I can not think of right now. 8)

Oh, and the ability to have CIMA submit free money to each user for every submitted file. Joke? ;D
