Chromodo crashed when opening specific website。

I have encountered a very annoying crash issue about Chromodo every time when opening specified website 登录QQ邮箱. The screenshot is attached.

1. Specific symptoms of the bug and steps you can take to reproduce it (step by step).

2. Specific steps you have taken to try to resolve it.
I have tried to disable all the extensions, but it does not help.
3. Chromodo Version (Stable)42.1.2.90
4. Plugins/Themes installed in Comodo Dragon/Chromodo
All plugins are installed automatically when install the Chromodo, such as Ad Sanitizer, Comodo Drag &Drop Service, Comodo Media downloader, and so on. No other plugin has been installed.
5. Windows version (w/ 32 or 64-bit)
Windows 8.1(32-bit).
6. UAC status (diabled/enabled) if it applies to you.
Enabled.
7. System Drive where Windows is installed (e.g. C:, “C” Drive )
C:.
8. Place (installation path) where Comodo Dragon/Chromodo is installed
D:\Program Files\Comodo\Chromodo
9. User privileges (administrator, limited user, guest, etc.)
Administrator.
10. If you have Google Chrome installed then please mention it’s version and whether the same issue reproduces with it.
No Google Chrome installed.

  3. Chromodo Version 42.1.2.90. Chromodo is up to date.
  4. Plugins/Themes installed in Comodo Dragon/Chromodo
    The only plugins I have are installed automatically: Ad Sanitizer, Comodo Drag &Drop Service, Comodo Media downloader and Comodo Web Inspector.

    Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).
  6. UAC status (diabled/enabled) if it applies to you.
    UAC is enabled

    Google Chrome installed. Version 43.0.2357.81 m. NO ISSUE with launching website http://forums.vwvortex.com/.

My chromodo carshes continuously on certain website
Aliexpress during checkout
alipay same thing

couple of other websites as soon as I log in to my account or at checkout
something is wrong…

I am glad I had my sessions saved,
chromodo saved my sessions few times but after few crashes it lost my tabs

Not sure if it helps any of you, but high DPI (150% or above) display settings have caused some issues.

this is very specific to some sites, usually with certificate or security setting as usually involves account view or check out process

it is embarrassing we have no response on this yet.

I wish I could just have exactly 2 separate chrome browsers so I dont have to use this unstable copies of chrome.

Have you tried with all 3rd party plugins disabled?
chrome://plugins

BTW doctorman: I am not sure why you require two Chrome browsers, but it is possible to do. (Hint-Portable)

All plugins have been disabled, but the issue is still there.

disabling plug in s was the first thing I did and no it does not help.

According to the screenshot that you attached, there are 2 additional extensions installed. McAfee & Adblock Plus. Could you please disabled them and then try it again. I couldn’t reproduce your issue on fresh installation of Chromodo 42.1.2.90.

this is really nice :slight_smile: but I need one more thing from your side. When the browser crashes, could you please create a dump file from Task Manager and attach here.

chromodo 42.1.2.90 crashes at www.techsupport.com faultmodule:chromodo_s.dll
all was well till last update to Chromodo v.42
so there is still need to use multiple browsers!
