I’ve been speculating on trying out Chromium snapshot builds, and was wondering if I would make myself less secure using them. I currently use Dragon, but have always wondered about Chromium. I noticed that with a command line parameter, I can block HTTP referrer requests, just like Dragon does. Also, I noticed that Chromium uses the GPU to render webpages. Would this be a security concern? I believe Dragon uses software to render webpages instead, as it comes with no D3DCompiler and libEGL dll’s. What are your thoughts on this guys?
