Greetings, Comodo users and devs! First of all I’d like to say that CIS is a great product and I’ve been using it for many years. It does have a few glitches I’d like to address though.
I have noticed that something has been stealing window focus on my windows desktop. I do not know exactly when it started, but apparently it has been happening for a very long time. I am kind of getting overannoyed by it, hence this report and I am pretty sure it’s cfpupdat.exe.
According to Process Explorer from Sysinternals, the “cfpupdat.exe” process is created by “cpf.exe” a few minutes after the PC has booted to desktop. This process exists only briefly and then terminates, but during this time I saw the focus being taken away from the process explorer window for about 2 seconds and then returned again after the process exited. This is a bit annoying, as if you manage to start a computer game that runs in full screen before the update takes place, it will get minimized to desktop when the focus is stolen.
I do not wish to turn off the updates though. I am logged in under an admin account.
