Certificate Issuance is broken

I have tried unsuccessfully for a day to acquire an email certificate from Comodo. The web-based application screen went well, and acknowledged that an email (with link to pick-up the Cert.) would be sent to my email address.

It never arrives !

I have requested “Support Tickets” - but most of them are simply automated responses telling me to check my junk folders or my spam filters. That’s sheer nonsense. On a second attempt, I was advised to use IE (instead of Firefox), but it made no difference.

Something is definitely broken here guys. It’s failed TWICE.

I don’t want to post my email address here, and I do have 3 “ticket” numbers if anyone wants to investigate this - but please … no more circular responses from automated customer service 'bots -giving me the same drivel over-and-over. That’s ridiculous.

Hi,

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

I would suggest you to get the email certificate revoked then start reapplying freshly. To get the email certificate revoked please submit a ticket to support@comodo.com

Please use Internet Explorer browser to apply and to collect the email certificate.

Also provide the ticket numbers to further investigate on this issue and to resolve it.

Please refer the link below to know more information on applying for email certificate,

Thank you, comodo_prabhakaran

This worked a treat for me today when having problems uplifting & installing an email certificate – so well in fact that the certificate was revoked, my ticket closed and advise of same sent by the support crew before I even got back to check my mail server

Great work!

(:CLP)

Thanks again…
