Yeah me. I’m using XP (MCE) as well. I encrypted a partition.
I enter the “CDE PW” at boot and I can see the partition drive in the OS, but it has no data, essentially.
It asks me to format it. Now, with REAL incryption, would one rather want the drive to be “invisible”?
I know I wouldn’t want somebody to format the freakin’ thing! LOL.
Anyway, after my first reboot and PW entry, all seemed fine, but since, I haven’t been able to get back on it.
Does the backspace button actually backspace on the PW at all? Or does it count it as a keystroke forward?
