In my computer has two partitions, I am currently using the CDE v1.2.x encrypted 2nd Parttition.
my question is; what happens if my primary partition where the OS reside on is corrupted or damaged the MBR so on…
can I backup or recover the data that in the 2nd partition before reimage?

If the primary partition is damaged, you do not need to backup the second partition. Just reinstall the OS on the first partition, and then install CDE. Once you have CDE installed you just need to use Add/Remove encrypted partition option in order to assign that raw space as an encrypted partition. Input the credentials there and ready to go.
