Nowadays I am testing security products on real system XP SP3.
And also testing CCE, mainly KillSwitch, Quick Repair & AutoRun.
In my test many times Internet Explorer options Home Page is changed by malware & the buttons like use default, current, etc are greyed out. And the security zone in IE are also changed & below there is a line, some settings are maintained by the admin.
Now Quick Repair has the option to repair Internet Options. But QR doesn’t detects this change i.e it mentions OK. Is Internet Options in Quick Repair not for these changes?
