Database updated & clicked on full scan & asked for restart. After restart update window & then scan started. It was scanning Hidden things & the scan window disappeared. What happened?

As far as I know, the scan doesn’t start after the Windows restarts… it completes (assuming you were scanning for hidden files/folders). I must admit, in this circumstance I thought that CCE still produced a summary pop-up even when it didn’t find anything. But, if you thought it was still scanning then I guess that it might have timed-out… I’ve never tried that.
When I clicked on full scan it asked me to reboot so that rootkit scan is also included. I rebooted & after reboot the scan started & after a min scanning it disappeared. Nothing happened after that.
