It’s 8th December. Is still everything a go for a Beta 2 today or are there any show-stopping isues with Beta 2?
How about a purge rules button that removes any rule of a file not currently at your pc?
This feature will return to CIS v9 (BuketB said)… I do not know about CCAV

As per you guys this was the stable release period & now you are late in beta release too that was going to be release before 8th.
Do you guys flip a coin for date instead of work progress? Everytime you disappoint the users on release dates.
Check what was said a few days ago. keep in mind 99% of stable software don’t give ETA so be happy you get an idea before it happens. Timetables are there as an indication you can’t expect them to be perfect except if the dev team is so bad it gives a very very late release date so they have a lot of time. in that case you wait even though the product is ready.
Can complain about a lot of stuff of Comodo but software ETA shouldn’t be one if there is a small delay.
That’s what I meant. Originally 2nd week of Dec was the stable release period. And now in that period they are late for the decided beta 2 too.
It’s coming tomorrow. That’s something and the first plan was no second beta at all. Would be happy if i knew the changes but hopefully we will tomorrow.
I am happy they are releasing a second beta and sincerely hope there will be two RC’s as well. Release quality is what counts.
Comodo seems to have developed a tendency to make optimistic plans, may be there are impatient managers upstream, which is regrettable. It’s an annoyance at best when dates change. But really, it is all part of the fun of beta testing. If you can’t stand the heat stay out of the kitchen. Yesnoo, stop wining and complaining.
No need to defend Comodo everytime.
Nowadays its a fact Comodo always disappoint the users on release date/time with every software.
And the kitchen example was very poor.

This is exactly why comodo does NOT like to give dates. When things come up and delay the release everyone complains. Then if comodo doesnt give any dates eveyone complains.
No one is ever happy. Dont ask for dates if you are going to get mad if they are missed.
Its not why they miss the dates. Its why they miss the dates everytime.
Then just ignore the dates and be patient, or move on to something else.

Bugs/Delays happen. And Devs know well the development of their software. But everytime missing the deadline disappoints the users.
