cavwp.exe crash and then system hang up

Hello,

I have a bug on 3 of my computer, all the same, with comodo, somertime my computer hang for 5 minutes of more. All the system is blocked. I think I nail the issue there :

If you have any idea. This problem is since one month at least. I think I will have to stop use comodo if no solution can be found :confused:

Known issue that is fixed in beta versions, you can use the beta or wait until next stable release.

I own CIS Pro 12.1.0.6914: am I eligible to the 2020 version?
Would I be, should I use the premium installer? (for I think there’s no way to activate the premium version)
Should I do a clean install or may I upgrade instead?

I get the following error shortly after logging in windows 10 after start or restart and then several times during the day.
It makes applications launches impossible for several minutes ; the computer doesn’t freeze but gets highly unresponsive.
I use the AV in statefull mode.

exact same problem as yours
I tuned the darn process: low priority + affinity set to 2 cores on 6 (Bitsum Process Lasso comes handy for this)
puter working fine since (fingers crossed)

I downloaded and installed the RC version and it works like a charm.

Unfortunately, cavp.exe just crashed with the RC version.

How to get notified when the stable version is released ?

A. THE BUG/ISSUE

No it happens randomly

CIS crashs randomly, It freezes my PC, I must hard reset my computer to solve this issue.

I used “Comodo unistaller tool” to remove CIS and I clean install CIS but it still crashs with the same error.

and just installed the previous build “12.0.0.6882” of CIS. So far so good. Awaiting patch for the next release.
