CAVS and CFP scans - redundant or can be run at same time?

If I’m running both the firewall and the antivirus, do the scans do the same thing? Same databases?

the database of the scanner integrated in CFP is based on CAVS3. This one has a more advanced detection and database then CAVS2. However, you could get the latest virusses in CAVS2 thanks to the updater…

Hi,

The Scanner built in CFP 3 is based only on the basic engine of the up coming CAV3. Theoretically, Yes both should have same databases. Stay tuned for CAV3.
