CAV Update Error

After the latest CIS program update, I am unable to update the antivirus signature database. I am using a 64-bit Windows 7 computer.

Have you tried a system reboot?

Please try running diagnostics. The error suggests that the installation is not totally peachy. Go to the main screen and click on the ? symbol → Suppor → Diagnostics and let us know what it found.

The diagnostics found a failed Com module cmdaruns.dll.

I assume it could not fix it?

Is there anybody with a Windows 7 x64 installation that could attach the cmdaruns.dll to a post?

When applying it check the signature to make sure the integrity of the file in in tact.

It failed to register, you can do this manually.

Open a command-box as admin and type exact as below:

regsvr32 “c:\program files\comodo\comodo internet security\cmdaruns.dll”

Then reboot see if it helps?

It did not help, so I ended up reinstalling CIS. Thanks for the attempt.
