CAS and Thunderbird Problem

Now I’ve setup CAS Thunderbird can no longer connect to my Hotmail account.

It basically times out when trying to access the POP server, I believe CAS reconfigures the connection settings when you configure it.

Please help.

Hey and Welcome to the forums!

I haven’t used CAS and I recommend you to other antispam software; CAS is not up-to-date.

But make sure that your settings are correct.

Hi Valentinchen, thanks for the very quick response. Can you tell me which Anti-Spam software you would recommend? I downloaded CAS because I am so happy with Comodo Firewall (easily the best free firewall available)’

to be honest with you I don’t any good ones; I don’t use any. But I will check it out and tell you. CIS is very good and I am very happy to use it :slight_smile:

In case you would like to make some research which antispam software is good then go to cnet.com, softpedia.com .
