Can't Uninstall

I have dowloaded and used comodo backup and i must say that it is a very good program. But i have been having a few issues with my computer and now i want to un-install comodo backup but all i get is a error - "The Windows Installer Service could not me accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support Personnel for assistance.

I am running in safe mode becuase it will not start up normaly, there is a problem with bdisk.sys

Can anyone help?

Indeed, it seems that windows installer service has a problem.
